New practice test helps prepare for the DANB Coronal Polish exam

The DALE Foundation recently launched the DANB CP Practice Test — a new resource for dental assistants preparing for the DANB Coronal Polish (CP) exam, a component of DANB’s Certified Preventive Functions Dental Assistant (CPFDA) certification.

This practice test can help learners test their knowledge of dental and oral anatomy, enhance their understanding of dental deposits, and increase awareness of polishing objectives and precautions.

It features multiple ways to adjust question feedback and time settings to help customize the experience: Learners can review by exam content area, star questions to create a custom set, view random questions or take the full bank of 200 questions. And while questions are not taken from DANB exams, the test was developed by respected subject matter experts based on DANB’s exam blueprint.

“So many times I hear people who take a practice test say it was nothing like the actual test,” says subject matter expert Cindy Ovard, RDA, CDA, B.V.Ed. “My favorite feature in this practice test is that it reflects the same types of questions in the CP exam, which is a better study aid for the actual test.”
