DANB Certificants are always looking for convenient and affordable ways to earn continuing education credits that meet recertification requirements. The DALE Foundation’s e-learning courses are a fun and affordable way to meet DANB’s Continuing Dental Education requirements, as well as in states where dental assistants are required to earn CDE to maintain licensure, registration, or permit.

Allison Longmuir, CDA, works as a dental assistant in Colorado and earned DANB Certification in 2008. She took the DANB RHS Review course to earn continuing education online. "I liked the idea of working on the course on my own time and earning all the credits I needed to renew my certification," Allison says. "The course was easy to navigate, and I could save it wherever I left off for the day and pick it right back up the next. I was also able to make my own notes on the side as I took the course and review them before I took the test. The interactive stuff in the course was great!"

Allison says she plans to remain in the dental field and maintain her DANB Certification. "I will definitely be using the DALE Foundation’s e-learning courses as a way to obtain credits."

Sandra Wade, CDA, RDH, works as a dental hygienist and part-time instructor in North Carolina. She also found the DANB RHS Review course helpful. "It’s a good way to earn continuing education credits without having to travel to an in-person course."

Sandra also notes the course was informative. "I learned a lot, especially about the newer techniques available to take radiographs," she says. "I appreciated the ease of navigating the site and the ability to take notes that I can go back and reference."
