Dental Assistant II

Renewal period: Annually

Requirements: A DA II is required to do the following:

• Maintain DANB certification or certification from another national credentialing organization recognized by the American Dental Association. To maintain DANB certification, a CDA must earn 12 credits of CE annually, hold current DANB-accepted CPR certification, and pay a renewal fee.
  
• Maintain evidence of successful completion of training in basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
