Study the science of sedation
Dentists may use different sedative agents and types of sedation on their pediatric patients for various reasons — and with different effects. This set of articles gathers current research on the effects of different types of sedation on children’s behavior, along with a look at actual cases of adverse events related to the use of sedation on pediatric patients.
Whether you wish to earn CDE credits to renew DANB certification or are simply interested in learning about this critical topic, the Sedation in Pediatric Dentistry module offers six months of online access, so you can read and review the articles at your own pace, on your own schedule. In addition, the interactive format allows you to take notes and access a glossary and links to related resources while you read, so you can be sure you understand the information before you take the 50-question assessment.

Review of this course:
The course was very informative. I brought this to the attention of my peers because there is so much sedation being provided I am suggesting our company considers a reduction of sedation program. Also if we can educate our dental providers
the importance re-educating. Thank you again
