Stephanie Bustos has worked as a lead dental assistant for over six years. Her roles include lead assistant, lab technician (digital CAD/CAM), office trainer, OSHA coordinator, and clinical manager for Edgemont Dental Arts in Montclair, New Jersey. She holds a certificate in dental assisting from Fortis Institute in Wayne, New Jersey, and is a member of the Association for Dental Safety.
India R. Chance is a registered dental hygienist, infection control educator, and authorized OSHA trainer who provides continuing education courses for dental healthcare providers to improve their knowledge of infection prevention and workplace safety. Nationally, Ms. Chance has trained hundreds of dental practice teams, and her mission is to equip them with tools to help deliver the safest dental visit possible. She is a state dental board inspector and national speaker who has worked on various CDC dental industry projects. She was also a subject matter expert writer for USA TODAY. Brooke Crouch is a registered dental hygienist with over 14 years of clinical experience, in private practice and public health. She has provided mobile dentistry in school-based as well as nursing home settings and understands the many challenges faced in accessing oral healthcare. Brooke is proud to serve as the Professional Education Specialist for Elevate Oral Care. She is also a dry mouth advocate as a Sjogren’s sufferer herself. Karen Kinsley Gregory, RN, CDIPC, is a registered nurse who found her home in the dental community. With over 20 years of compliance experience, Ms. Gregory currently operates her own consulting company and applies her passion for process and policy to support healthcare providers in creating a safe space for workers and patients. Ms. Gregory was one of the first recipients of the Certified in Dental Infection Prevention and Control (CDIPC) certification and has received several ADS (formerly OSAP) awards including the Dr. James J. Crawford Lifetime Achievement Award. She co-chairs the ADS Boot Camp Program Committee and is on the editorial review board for Infection Control in Practice. To give back to her community and live out her faith, Ms. Gregory has been involved in numerous Mission of Mercy dental clinics. She has disclosed financial interest as a key opinion leader or consultant for Hu-Friedy and SciCan.
Tija is Director, Dental Careers Institute, a speaker, and author of numerous continuing education courses and the book Rock Star Dental Assistant. Tija was named one of the Top 25 Women in Dentistry by Dental Products Report Magazine. She is a member of the American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA) where she holds the honor of Master.
